More than twenty years have passed since Ford last offered a two-door, high-performance street truck. The second-generation Ford F-150 SVT Lightning was exactly that — a bed-equipped performance machine that could outrun a Mustang Cobra of its day. The newer F-150 Lobo takes a swing at reviving Ford's street-truck legacy with aggressive styling and a strong 5.0-liter V-8, though it rides on four doors and doesn't sit nearly as low as purists would prefer. That gap can be addressed either by the Ford Performance FP700 package or the newly unveiled Roush Nitemare treatment on the 2026 Ford F-150.
The current Roush Nitemare package for the F-150 keeps Ford's half-ton looking unlike anything else on the road. Its most distinctive element is a Roush-branded front end featuring orange lettering and three amber running lights positioned where the hood meets the grille. The hood itself adds functional heat extractors and Nitemare badging, and buyers can now opt for a package that includes checkered-flag-inspired graphics along the bedsides.
Every Nitemare truck rolls on black 22-inch wheels wrapped in substantial 305-section General Tire G-MAX AS07 all-season rubber. The suspension overhaul, however, is what truly defines this build. Roush installs coil-overs and twin-tube dampers working alongside stiffer front and rear anti-roll bars. Combined with new lowering knuckles and spindles, the result is a 3.0-inch drop up front and a 5.0-inch reduction in the rear. Slotted brake rotors replace the stock units as well.
The cabin gets a thorough Roush makeover starting with black leather seats featuring quilted stitching, red color accents, and American flag details. Leather also wraps the steering wheel, which gains a red carbon-fiber trim piece on the lower spokes. The interior package is completed by aluminum pedals, embroidered floor mats, and upgraded carpeting. Optional extras include a serialized plaque, a center-console vault, and R-branded key fobs.
Pricing for the Nitemare kit stands at 2,999, layered on top of the base 2026 F-150 XL or XLT. The two-door regular-cab XL equipped with the 400-hp 5.0-liter V-8 opens at 2,125, while the four-door XLT SuperCrew begins at 0,850. Trucks can be ordered through Roush-authorized Ford dealers and carry a three-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty.
